Fair showcases Turkish marble

Turkish marble products garnered a great deal of attention at the Milan Marble Fair, which ended yesterday, according to Turkish exporters.
The six-day fair, titled "Thus Spoke the Marble: The Journey Alters You," showcased several Anatolian marble products designed by both world-famous and Turkish designers.
Şişecam meets 3 pct of int’l glass demand

Şişecam's 2011 profits grew by 53 percent as the company continued to expand abroad, according to Ersin Özince, chairman of the Turkey-based glass maker. The company fulfills some three percent of the global glass demand with its production, which has reached $3.7 billion.
Israeli agri firms visit Turkey
The Aegean Exports Union (EİB) collaborated with the Israel-Turkish Business Council and the Israel Producers Union, to hold a seminar yesterday in the western province of İzmir on "Modern Agricultural Practices in Israel." The seminar comes at a time of renewed political tension between Turkey and Israel, after Turkey recently vetoed Israel's participation in next month's NATO summit.
Turkey’s Ramsey signs sponsorship deal with Liverpool
Ramsey, a Turkish clothing company, signed a three-year clothing sponsorship agreement with Britain's Liverpool football club on Tuesday.
Ramsey Executive Board Chairman Hüseyin Doğan and Liverpool Club Finance Director Philip Nash signed the agreement during a ceremony held at Anfield Road Stadium in Liverpool. The agreement will last for three years.
